This is YOUR LIFE.  This is YOUR LAND.

Has your land fallen into disrepair?   Have things gotten a little rocky on your land?  Are the weeds starting to grow up around your feet?  Maybe you’ve stepped into a patch of mud and you seem to be tracking it all over your home.  Keep your head up!  There is hope!

God used the Israelites to show us the plan for His people – and that includes YOU.  God gives you your land.  God enables you to fight and conquer your land.  Then God lays out the plans and the insights you need to prosper your land.

This is YOUR life.  This is YOUR land.

There are four principles that God has laid out for you about clearing and keeping your land – your body, your soul and your spirit.  God has already prepared your land, just for YOU.  But unfortunately, all too often, the enemy creeps across your borders and occupies your land.

But I will not drive them out in a single year, because the land would become desolate and the wild animals too numerous for you. Little by little I will drive them out before you, until you have increased enough to take possession of the land.  (Exodus 23:29  NIV)

1.  It is YOUR choice and YOUR responsibility to take back, clear and protect your land.    You need to remove everything that is keeping your land from being lush, fertile and productive.   For example, you might be in a battle with the  unforgiveness, fear and addictions that are occupying your land.  You can either kick those squatters out or choose to cohabitate with them.  Clear your land!  Drive them out!

I will give into your hands the people who live in the land, and you will drive them out before you.  (Exodus 23:31 NIV)

2.  Next, you have to keep your land safe.  Always remember, you have the power and the glory of our God Almighty leading the way, by your side and at your back.  God has promised this land to you and God’s promises do not fail.  Don’t let the enemy put you into fear.  Be strong and of good courage.  Don’t be afraid or timid.  Stand up with the Word of God and the power and authority in you and take back your land or prevent it from being overrun again by the enemy!  Build a fence around your land and defend it with all the power and authority God has given you.  The only way you can lose this battle is to quit!

No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you. Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them.  (Joshua 1:5-6 NIV)

3. Learn to prosper and grow your land.  You need to plow it up, get nutrients into your earth and give it plenty of water.  Keep the soil moist and fertile by reading His Word,  experiencing the joy of relationship with God  and producing His fruits.  As you learn and grow, your land will flourish.

Little by little I will drive them out before you, until you have increased enough to take possession of the land.  (Exodus 23:29  NIV)

God does this “little by little”, not “all at once”.  Remember that this is a process.

4. Live victoriously on your land in freedom and then God is going to open up another parcel for you when you have learned to live on this one really well.  You never know when He is going to reveal another piece of land that really needs some cleaning up!  You need to learn to appropriate and take exclusive possession of what is legally yours, of what you have inherited.  Experience God’s goodness, character and love.  Grow in faith and develop an intimate relationship with God and others.  Learn who He is in you and who you are in Him.  You are leaning to mature in God.

That is YOUR life!  That is YOUR land!

It’s exciting and wonderful to get freer and freer! No more squatters!  He wants every part of your soul and your body cleared and cleaned and healthy and whole and prosperous.  He wants you to experience ALL that Jesus died to give you.  That’s the process – the salvation and sanctification of your soul, and the renewing of your mind, thoughts, attitudes and behaviors.

This is your responsibility.  YOU are the land of milk and honey.  You are destined to be a holy person, dedicated and sanctified to the Lord Himself.  This is your land.  Jesus Christ died for you, to give you back your land.

Now, are you ready to take responsibility for your land?  Are you ready to make the journey to health, freedom and relationship with God?   In the Restoring Your Life conference you will learn much more about  taking back your land and caring for it.  We recommend that you attend a conference and start learning about your land!  If you’ve already been to a conference, we recommend you attend another to continue learning about cleaning up your land and making it flourish!
